Let Me In Poem by Leon Gakuo

Let Me In

Rating: 4.2

I want you to err o the side of caution
Distance yourself from the safety of a risk less life and plunge into an unknown with me
Allow yourself the gift of a broken heart, by giving the opportunity to break it
Meanwhile...
Affect me with your beauty, charm me with your personality
Overwhelm me with your presence, fill me with your essence
Do this slowly then all at once; with the subtlety of a unicorn seen or a Santa on a Christmas eve
And in one swift corruption nay bewitching of the mind spread generously over a dating duration, deny me the very opportunity initially presented.

Lovely poem depicting the alluring power of seduction, well articulated and insightfully penned in poetic diction with conviction. A good piece indeed. Thanks for sharing Leon. Please read my poem THE OBSESSIVE AGONY OF LUST.
