Let me show you something,
A glimpse inside of me.
I won’t let anyone else see this person,
It’s a special side only the dearest person to me will see.
What am I?
I am sky,
I’ll carry all the tears you cry,
And clear all the dark clouds.
I am a quiet room.
A peaceful place you can always run to,
Where the secrets you say will never escape.
I am a bright sun.
Always filling you with warmth when everything else seems so cold.
I am the light in your dreams.
Vanquishing the darkness of fear and nightmares.
I am a shadow.
Always there with my arms around you.
I am a memory.
Making you laugh remembering everything we experienced together.
Why am I all of this?
Because you are the beautiful sky above me,
You are the quiet room I can always go to for peace,
You are the bright sun that brings joy and light to me,
You are the light in my dreams making everything dark dissipate.
You are a shadow always near,
Just like you are also a memory,
Making me smile and laugh over everything you were,
And everything you are.
