We love to boast salvation’s ours
We’ve seen God’s Truth & Light
Received by grace tremendous powers
And strength to stand each fight
But are we safe when love is still?
When idly standing by
Seeing the devil cheat and kill
Watching the unsaved die
We live with hate in filth galore
A stench to God on high
We fight and strive with those next door
Living a foolish lie
Forgive and take our neighbour’s guilt
Relieve each troubled heart
Cover them free with love’s warm quilt
Induce a brand new start
Love is selfless mighty and true
The devil’s greatest foe
Power divine for me and you
Whilst through death’s vale we go
Encourage faith by planting seeds
Encourage love to root
By caring sharing meeting needs
Serving and bearing fruit
Thank God for love and tender care
Thank God for Christ His Son
For all He freely gives to share
And all life’s victories won
Refuse to be the devil’s fool
In love bend Christ the knee
In Him become The Father’s tool
To set our neighbour free
