Open up your heart
and let the sunshine in.
Think each day is filled
with joy and happiness.
Just open up your heart,
let the sunshine in,
and let the world of sadness
pass you on by.
Forget about the storm clouds
that linger on the horizon.
You will see them dissipate
when you open up your heart
and let the sunshine in.
If you are the first to do it
you will be surprised to find
others will follow your example,
opening up their hearts too
and letting the sunshine in.
