Let The World Go By Poem by Margie Ogle

Let The World Go By

To walk along some country road -
And lift my face up to the sky;
To bask beneath the noonday sun
And let the world go by.
To wander through the fields of green -
Just watching as the clouds float by
And gaze into those distant hills
And let the world go by.
To stand in silence in the woods
And lift my eyes to mountains high;
I thank God for the "Little Things"
As the rest of the world goes by.
The treasures that my heart has found -
As birds silhouette across the sky;
To Thee, Lord, I give adoration and praise -
As I let the world go by!
