Let Us Have A Life.
Your past is of no concern to me.
So must be mine to you.
You can reveal to me as much
As you are comfortable to.
Even that I am not bothered to know.
No one being flawless, your ex-flame,
If any, will least disturb my equilibrium.
You didn’t get along with your ex-flame
And that is why you have come to me.
I have been sore with my ex-heart throb
And that is why I have come to you.
Both are thus credited and not discredited.
Let us have a life as long as it lasts.
