Let Your Thoughts Free
In our minds we perceives the truth.
In the world our mind conceives lies.
In the eyes of others we hide ourselves,
The inner most hurt.
We grab the light and hold it close to us,
For fear it'll leave forever, and let the darkness overcome us.
We continue day after day to fight,
To break free,
To subdue,
To control the darkness within.
We push and push,
'Till once,
In our lives to control our thoughts.
Yet we h.ve no where to strive.
We try to push forward with no relay.
Only delay in our demise.
We forget our senses,
To no longer realize there is not just one,
One direction,
One hope,
One chance.
We forget nothing controls us but ourselves.
Our minds can conceive the unimaginable.
Yet we fight ourselves,
For the world tells us it controls,
Our minds,
Our feelings,
Our soul,
Our love,
Our addictions,
Our esteem,
Our life.
Must we continue to listen to the world?
Or for once, are we going to allow our minds to show,
The world for who we really are?
