lets go where the light stops
create new rays filled with hopefulness
scare off the darkness
hide in the sunshine
not fade from ourselves
connect our lives

aim for the best
endure the worst
lets live for each other
whether we know if either is still alive
if best of times
memories live on in people

i never forgot but time is of the essence
one time to partake is enough strength in me
to go on in life without looking back
but if only you understood the pain inside
history of a soul entwined in hurt from fate
let not the destiny of past contain your will to live

and do good with what you can
but in today's world you best get with the times
life is moving too fast
time seems to just fly by
I could have sworn the past was like yesterday
only to be dwindling far away within my memory

so move along with the stream and share your knowledge
conserve the earth keep to yourself when you have seen enough
return all the good back to the atmosphere around
from there on will there be more meaning
from there on will we be free
let us break into the open conscious

that so few are unwillingly mindful of
we are all living beings
lets find the meaning of life
