Got a message one fine day
A letter coming from a friend
I opened it with enthusiasm
So eager to flip the pages
Simply because I missed it
A smile turned into grin
Followed by cryin'
Without saying a word
Crushed the paper into pieces
It was not a happy note
Why is this happening
Can't answer
My dreams shattered at once
I must say goodbye
To this liar guy
The innocent, the unborn
Must bloom on its own
