Letters Poem by Josephine Blackford

Letters

Why not write a letter to some one who is sad.
You will cheer their day up and make them very glad.
Tell them that you love them and make them feel alive.
It will prove a tonic and help them to survive.
Its surprising what a letter does for their morale.
Every morning I awake look forward to that mail.
And when it comes it fills my day with warmth from deep with in.
So get that letter written to every Kith and Kin.
Then take it to the post box and you'll have done your deed,
To those who's sad and lonely your letter that they need.
