There's something odd about sending with love
a letter that was written in hate.
There's something sad about wanting to speak
but being silenced until it’s too late.
There's something unfair in leaving your choice
to the intricate workings of fate.
There's something dark about walking away
when every part of you wants to stay,
and there's something to fight for, realising you’re right for
living your own life your own way.

I would like to translate this poem
There's something to be said, for such deeply felt writing: very courageous.
