Letting Go
There comes a time
when we must let go.
Let our heart speak
let the tears flow.
It's never easy
for us to do.
But sometimes it's
the only way
of healing you.
We will doubt
whether it's right
or wrong.
But it's the first step
that you've taken
in so long.
How things will
turn out, we'll know
in the end.
But, if it's happiness
we seek.
It's better to find it
rather than just
pretend.

I like this one the best so far. I had my heart broke. He tortured and hurt me by being with her right up in my face. I don't warm up to romantic stuff too quick yet. Lovey, dovey, kissy, kissy, blah, blah, blah...Do not take it personal! I will keep reading your poems. It will be good therapy for me. :) You are a talented writer and I will not let my feelings stand in my way of enjoying some good love poems. I need to get over some darkness.
