Letting You Go
I loved you once,
you hurt me twice.
Now our friendship
pays the price.
I always said
I’d be here for you
and this statement
still remains true.
When you need me
I’ll be right there,
I’ll hold your hand
and show you I care.
Just right now
I’m letting you go,
but I still love you;
just letting you know.
