Lied Iii Poem by Morgan Michaels

Lied Iii

Like one of those toys
where you have one laquered figure
the which, unscrewing, yet another
find, and within it another still
and so on, each identical, smaller version
more charming and mystifying than the last
and so on and so on, to infinity.
