Lies Poem by Viri Rodriguez

Speak the truth
thats what i try to do
but the lies are there,
they are everywhere.
honesty is just in out imagination
a mind set that is never to be unfolded
what lies behind is never to be said
because it can never be accpepted.
we cover what we dont want others to see
and blind ourselfs with reality.
the light that we ignore is the one we need to follow;
we must take off the blindfold
and open our eyes,
to face the beauty of what unfolds
when all our secrets are told.
