Lies Poem by Reed Dietiker

Lies

Dont be so quick to judge
And dont be so quick to hide
The truth with the lies

They're only making it worse
So tell me the truth first
Dont be afraid

These lies have dug the hole you made
They've filled the pool you drown in
Now, you question where you should begin

You never know what I may say
So spill the truth my way
Drown me in the truth and spill your guts

Pull me under and face the ruts
Free yourself and live in light
Make the choice of wrong from right
