Lies Poem by Brad Brandon

Lies

You've been lied to
Alright
Here goes
First you're retarded
Listen I've been with more women than I can count
Met a lot
Slept with a lot
Dated a lot
You're still the smartest woman I've ever met
Hell you can rebuild a computer or fix an iPod or mp3 player
I know how a nuclear powerplant works and I can't even comprehend that stuff
So what you're English isn't perfect big whoop
You're really smart
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise
Second you don't have enough credits to get a GED or college
You don't need credits for a GED and Brookdale will accept you with just a diploma or GED
If you wanna go to college marry me and I'll be able to pay for it
My tuition money should cover you as my spouse
Third if you leave shell keep your money and/or documents
FALSE if she does that's a felony
And threatening to do so is domestic terrorism
Fourth you can't go outside, go anywhere, or leave the place without permission
Baby you're 24 you can do whatever the hell you want
You can go anywhere you want anytime you want just because you want to
You can leave just because you don't want to be there and you don't need to file charges
Fifth they can deny you contact with anyone and deny you a phone
You can talk to anyone you damn well please
If you want to get a phone, get it
If you want to on Facebook, go ahead
If you want to reach out to someone or talk to someone or contact
Just do it
They can't stop you
Sixth they can pay you two dollars a day to babysit their kids and everyone else's plus take care of the house and do 'chores'
Nope that's slavery under federal law plus that's your money
If you want all of it you're entitled to all of it by law
If they say no, another felony
Seventh any document they make you sign is automatically legally valid
Technically you need a lawyer signature and witnessed plus motorization
Also even if you have those, you can still void it by saying you were coerced into it, which basically means intimidated and that's also a felony
Seventh you're disabled and unable care for yourself
Honey you're bipolar, not disabled.
My public notary has bipolar and he lives a successful independent life, hell he's a public notary! If you can take care of all those kids day in and day out, taking care of yourself is nothing for you and I'll even help you with getting a job of you want.
So if you want to keep letting them use you, abuse you, enslave you, and imprison you, that's your choice, but I'm telling you you're capable of so much more. You have more power than them. Don't let anyone push you around. You deserve so much more, so much better. Oh yeah and it's your choice if you want to take the drugs they give you. They can't force you to do anything. Free yourself. You're not worthless, your not useless. You're worth far more than all the gold and oil and diamonds and money in the world and you know what you've saved my life who knows you could come up with something that changes the world. You're a wonderful, beautiful, smart, amazing person and I love you so much it makes me cry.
