On that hill
songs by a humming bird
remind me that
eternity calls after years spent
on the journey of life.
there are many roads to living;
life calls, attracts and shapes
for perfection,
intrigues ever so real and ever so daring
all make me realize the potency
of a blitz at survival,
another prism from which life can
be viewed and braced.
if we relentlessly choose
our own way
we would only be able
to waste ourselves on
an energetic chasing the wind
in our mock perception of
life.
