Life? Poem by Starrbox Munoz

Life?

There's no end to world hunger, and there never will be.
People pray in vain, for peace and tranquility;
Yet, it will never become a reality.
Global warming has begun take its toll,
But not a single soul seems to care.

People always take each day for granted;
Never appreciating life's simple gifts.
To be able to breath in the fresh air
To smell the beautiful spring flowers
To walk on the beach and feel the sand sink between your toes
To taste the different flavors of all the foods or drinks
To be able to feel the warmth of a hug from a friend

Take the time to appreciate all of life's precious gifts,
Because you lived today
But there's no certainty or guarantee of there being a tomorrow.

Great job! You're right, people dont care about the reality. ...But there's no certainty or guarantee of there being a tomorrow... that is very true.
