Life As An American

A flag for freedom never to forget
Romance in novels described by sunset
Tragedy witnessed behinds ones glasses
Fire abroad caused by viscious gases

Driving to get somewhere in his car
Running in his shoes, you can only go so far
Getting ready for work using his razor
While reading newspapers on jeeps and blazors

The taste of eggs taste the best
Newpapers in hands ready to test
The symbol of money shows your wealth
When all you really need are roses for health

A feeling in my heart hot as fire
Like sunsets, suddenly i feel dire
Freedom in America shows a symbol
To be peacful, loyal, humble and nimble!

    Hi Destiny,

I am in Australia right now, and I never appreciated America until I came here. Even though the people are nice, the laws here really suck. People here are forced to vote, or they get fined. The police make up charges against people they don't like, and the elected representatives do not talk to the people, except when they are running for office.

There is no country like America, anywhere in the Universe. I wrote a poem call America The Beautiful. Take my word for it Destiny, America is where it is at, because we as Americans have unique rights and freedoms other free world countries don't have.

This poem is easy to read, and flows nicely. And you are right Destiny, this is Life As An American. Nice write, and never stop writing.

    Love & hugs,
