Life & Death
This is life
I know it’s hard
so sudden and unexpected
almost seems to be a joke
I wish I could say it was
I wish it weren’t the truth.
But this is our life
and the cold hard truth
Now that is sunk in
That this is the real end
You begin to wonder
What was God’s purpose.
But trust me he has a reason
Clouded by emotion
It seems unclear
Time will tell its true end.
