Life In A Nutshell At The Moment Poem by Shayna Butcher

Life In A Nutshell At The Moment

I hate how you make me wait
Just because you know I will.
A hypocritical sentence..
Save me from this repentance.
These feelings are so hard to fake it
Nothing else can replace it.
Drama, lies, and all the tears
Gotta love the teenage years.
Your truth hurts
but your lies kill.
But you're a candied kiss
I never knew I'd fall like this.
I hate missing you
but i love having you to miss.
I think I found a new addiction
It's a love-hate contradiction.
I don't want to fall,
But I'm not afraid.
Maybe I climed to high
But at lease it shows you
That I tried.
I close my eyes
Make-up running down my face
Look who's got the best of me.
Keep going; Pull through;
The show must go on.
