Life is sweet
Life is always changing
And hands us little treats

Life has sorrows
Life has defeats
Life doesn't stop moving
And brings us grief

Life is precious
Life is a friend
Life gives emotions
Of happiness and content

Life is pointless
Life has an end
Life causes commotions
Even between the best of friends

Life brings love
And you took it away
I hope you're happy
For I'll forget you today
