Life Is A Blessing Poem by Casey A Geiger

Life Is A Blessing

Rating: 1.0

I will walk for miles through this journey I am told,
With memories of gladdness and many secrets to unfold,
I will keep my head up high, with my feet upon the ground,
And I will flinch without fear each time I turn around.
I will accomplish dreams if it takes forever long,
I will not ever crumble, I will stand, and I'll stand strong,
I may leave some memories though others I will make,
And those that I am fondest of are the ones that I will take,
Life is not a struggle it is the peace within mankind,
It is an empty hallway, or the cornerstone of your mind,
Life is not a battle, less it's a battle you desire,
Just as music isn't song without the blessing of a choir,
For harmony is found within the truth as in the prayer,
And I shall treat it like a treasure and my treasure I will share
I will not be afraid of the anguish in each day,
And I will never run for shelter but I might just walk away.
I have learned throughout this journey I can love without the hate,
Wether its found inside a sister or in a friend, I'll call it fate,
I will cry when I am bruised or when I'm torn with sorrow,
But I will smile, win or lose, and know I have tomorrow,
Though our feelings always change, from summer unto fall,
Inside I have found love, which can be found inside us all.
