Life Is A Terrible, Beautiful Thing Poem by Noah Body

Life Is A Terrible, Beautiful Thing

Rating: 5.0

Life is a terrible, beautiful thing
With ecstasy and agony it does ring

Less than a blink in the great beyond
A miniscule fish in an endless pond

A nuclear burst inside a fragile shell
One sharp tone from the mighty bell

Here this moment, gone in the next
Leaving behind everlasting effects

Each life but a neuron in a vast net
An atom inside a wondrous vignette

On it's own so meager and impotent
United in life truly transcendant

...Life Is A Terrible, Beautiful Thing.. An amazing line that says so much, as do your words. Thank you
