Life Isn'T For Me Poem by Monkey Bubbles

Life Isn'T For Me

I tried to stop
I swear I did.
I feel just like
A little kid.
You told me no,
that it’s not right.
Yet I do it again
And watch the blood
Flow bright.
You think I’m scared
you have no clue.
That’s not the reason
I am blue.
I’m more angry than sad,
to know life isn’t for me
Maybe,
It was just never meant to be.
So I slide the blade
one more time
letting my life flow out,
not worth a dime.
The sleeves I wear
they do hide
the marks and cuts
you won’t find.
