Life Moment Poem by Daria Domitrovic

Life Moment

Burning soil. Folding under bustling
blue cover.
Terror around my heart wanders.
Boundless
I am catching my breath in surprise. Watching.
Sighs mingle in the air like lovers.
Stifled mountains choose to rest on my shoulders.
Pieces of peace dripped through the breeze
Like pieces of heaven we all dream about
Or pieces of me I once let him devour.
