Life Or Leg Poem by Amy Fifita

Life Or Leg

Rating: 5.0

You can choose life to show you care,
You can choose life to make me know you're there.
You could choose to keep your beloved leg and die,
And by doing that you'll only make me cry.
You can get it amputated and have a fake leg,
You could not do that and die instead.
It's your choice, don't ponder or it'll be too late,
Just hurry up 'cause the infection will not wait.
You won't be useless without your leg,
But you will be if you choose to be dead.
Although I hate the choices that you've made in the past,
My hate for you it did not last.
Being without a leg won't be that bad,
And it's not as painful as losing my loving dad.
