Life's New Focus Poem by Luke Easter

Life's New Focus

The dream of life is all as everyone will find,
One hell of good universe in season’s time,
Life would surprise us, left at the next turn,
Eternal gift is given & not by what we earn.

Where it would lead us or what we might be?
Aware what's beyond logic is not you or me,
It happens not as planning maybe it should?
A walkway of knowledge trudging was good.

Mystified paths better the best waiting within,
Now through yesterday I seek my new friend,
One road unlike the circle comes not around,
Because we’re here it only leads out of town.

Who is to say never again when once before,
Atlantic waters lay seashells upon the shore,
Too many, it compensates grain under sand,
Uncountable from the very beginning of man.

Speculation based on 1 whomever perceives,
Surely not from doubters who do not believe,
Unless viewed from my own eyes dare I tell?
As there is no wishing without a wishing well.

Meditate, you ponder as we study obviously,
Is not the goal to attain our rights to be free?
Shall we accomplish alone never combined?
Strength of two is greater than a single mind.

Status quo is death, imperative to rejuvenate,
Standing watch, taking turns, I must motivate,
That is unless you feel the need to be proved,
Facing controversy yet not to be easily moved.

I’ll never wallow to be the kind one and done,
The earth orbits continuously around the sun,
Forever a continuum darkness following light,
I may not alone and together only if we might.

This never was my job but I try and understand,
All I have to do is believe, that's how we can,
Our sights limitless to the abundance in time,
New stanzas from old lyrics and only in rhyme.

Give up? Associated with dreams we will not,
Provided by the spirit it is impossible to stop,
Undaunted having come to far to give up now,
With the victory in hand as surely this is how.

Need greater concentration whenever it rains,
So not to count new sands as one in the same,
Now dust is washed away by the morning dew,
Cleaning out the old to make room for the new.

Wherefore, as I am with you so you are with me,
Viewed not in the valley but from the tallest tree,
Master Magician wave your wand, Hocus Pocus,
Abracadabra, rabbit in my hat, Life’s New Focus.
