Life's Pains Poem by Michael Peterson

Life's Pains

Rating: 5.0

Life is a pain, so drained
things seem to never work
struggle with everyday problems
one by one they add up
is there a way out
there seems to be many turns
been burnt many time
searching for answers
none to be found, losing ground
money is bound
there's no escape
thing just keep spinning
from the beginning
there is no end
only can bend so far
the snapping beginnings
the fall so endless
no help can be found
no one cares, no one to share
all we want is a clean bill
but there is no deal
the tunnel is closing fast, won't last
options are gone, fighting is done
wheres the way out
the light is fading, hopelessly trying
almost rock bottom
never thought it would ever come
here it is and no way out
drifting down farther
got to dig out, where to start
where to end
help my soul, lose my lows
gotta get better
time will tell, all can do is yell
will find the tunnel's end
to begin again, fresh and alive
