'This place is a dream.
Only a
sleeper considers it real.'
~Rumi

Life is a dream,
One who is in sleep,
Can it be real to one awake?

Wonderful poem. Life is all that it can be. Who is to say if it molds us to what it wants us to be or gets molded with one's will or perseverance or so e thing even beyond that. (Report) Reply

In this moment life is like you say here in this lovely poem, however, my idea is, that everybody brings out the law for the other. Ones one understand this, life become light and easy, because life is a School room where we all get lessons. If we solve the problems what we create in reality, comes the next one, because until we are here on this earth we just have to learn and learn. You painted the perfect picture of humanity in this moment. (Report) Reply

Ramadas, your poem is very beautiful, it speaks of life in so many ways, with every breath we take we inhale the good and the bad and that's life. Thank you for your amazing poem! I love Rumi too, very much. (Report) Reply

poet Robert William Service

Three times I had the lust to kill,
To clutch a throat so young and fair,

No breath of being lingered there.
Three times I drove the demon out,
