I sometimes wonder
About my angelic sender
Unheard cries
Haunts my torture soul
Tired and hungry eyes
Dare not dream
The touch of a loved one
Cease to stimulate
I feel void
Of light and night
If time were to stand still
Would I continue to fall
Into a bottomless pit
I can my sanity
