Light Poem by Kelly Jacobson

Light

Light thinks it travels faster than anything but it is wrong. No matter how fast light travels, it finds the darkness has always got there first, and is waiting for it.

If destruction be our lot we must ourselves be its author and finisher. As a nation of free men we must live through all time, or die by suicide.

And in the end, it's not the years in your life that count. It's the life in your years.

People living deeply have no fear of death.

Gravitation is not responsible for people falling in love.

Freedom from desire leads to inner peace.
