There will be light in the sky
Divine, sublime, bright and pure
That will fall in smooth cascade
To make the dew shine as pearls

There will be light in the sky
That will emerge from behind hills
That will hop across undulating dales
Making birds to emerge from nests

There will be light in the sky
Playing hide and seek with clouds
That will slip down wilting leaves
And make the grasses swing and dance

There will be light in the sky
Dispelling darkness into a corner
Of the sky and revealing a new dawn
In the cosy corner of the sleepy east
