Lightless Queen Poem by Vidi Wija

Lightless Queen

She was a mother of roses
an honour without promises
Beauty more than mistresses
and high among the wises

Behind the garden of flowers
there scattered away the tears
Behind the garden of thorns
there hidden away the happiness

In a mansion of lights
Emptiness was born by years
After so long waiting was
Far died the lover of hers
