Like A Pheonix Poem by Alison Smith

Like A Pheonix

Rating: 5.0

Within the buffeting of life
A small change begins
A transformation is occurring
That which had been hiding would be seen

Sounds seemed to become clearer
Colours where more vibrant
The fibre of the earth
Was buzzing with the news

Rising from the flames a Phoenix
The transformation was complete
The shell of that which chained
Fell to the ground

Within the glory of the sun
The light was reflected
Feel the power
Cheer the change

A very enlightening poem, here, Alison. Beautiful imagery and a strong statement for change. Life is ever changing, else we die in stagnation. Lovely! Linda

Whether bird, beast or human life...we all go through a physical & psychological metamorphisis....its part of the beautieed circle of life....and its not about the idea that we will deal with change in our lives...its about how we accept it & use it as a psitive energy of transformation...this is very well written, alison.the structuring is fresh & crisp....flows like a river.....solid elocution...
