Like That Goat Poem by Nassy Fesharaki

Like That Goat

Like that goat
Nice, cute, light brown with white face
With friends go mornings head to graze
Evening I sneak to houses; when return
To each house of news; with comments
Life today; round the world, is a shame
Nothing but lies & bluffs; in such game
Surrendered I stand; am tired to confess
Take my milk; later meat, good, hooray

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
We used to have a goat that went around, house to house and then came home to give milk and...that is like our life of today... surrendering at the end.
