Like You Love Me Poem by Bragg Adocio

Like You Love Me

Rating: 3.0

i want you to kiss me, like the antidote is hidden under my tongue.
like you're curious as to the flavor of my gum.
i want you to hold me, like you are afraid you might fall if you let go of me.
i want you to want me,
like you need me,
like sustinance,
like life or death,
like breath of air,
like gulp of water,
and, like im the only man in the room.
i want you to touch me when im not even there.
i want you to hear me when i think of your name.
i want you to miss me before i ever leave.
i want you to think of me like im stapled to your mind.
i want you to call me, like im the only number in your phone,
like im 911,
like you didnt just talk to me for hours,
like you didnt just stay up til 3am,
like you didnt fall asleep mid-sentence and dream of me.
like you dialed the wrong number and now you dont want to hang up.
i want you to sleep with me, like im warmer than your blanket.
lay on me, like im softer than your pillow.
i want you to look at me,
like im a car crash,
like im entrancing,
like im a ghost,
like i may fade away!
i want you to TOUCH me, like you might not get another chance to FEEL me!
so KISS me, like your tongue wants to HOLD me!
KISS me, like your lungs need to BREATHE me!
KISS me, like your throat needs to DRINK me!
KISS me like you LIKE me!
KISS me like you WANT me!
KISS me, like when i ask you to HOLD me,
I want you to KISS me....
like, you LOVE me.
Because,
i THINK you love me when you TELL me, but, i KNOW you love me...
when you KISS me

wonderfully descriptive, needy, demanding, passionate!
