Lilly, my dear, how could you do this to me? ?
How cruel could you get to be?
Why did you have to die on this day?
You broke my heart, on this special b’day

You were always tender and caring
Your eyes soft and loving
You were always happy to see me
Enjoying each moment being with me

You brought the guests home,
Showing your happiness all alone
You drove away the pests
And got home many more guests.

It is getting harder to forget you
More so when I see a dog like you
Another one I will never get.
You surely was my best pet
