Lily Poem by Joshua Wyatt

Lily

Rating: 4.7

Lily, that was her name
and she was my friend.
We never said a proper goodbye,
just went our own ways silently.

I never told you how i really felt.
Though i had my chances,
i could never tell you
and now your gone forever.

Then again maybe it's best that i never did.
We could have never work.
Or homes were too far away,
and we were too young.

I will always remember you,
and we will always have that moment.
That one perfect moment.

We never said a proper goodbye,
so i'll say it now......
Goodbye Lily

This was soft... not really melancholy... It was meaningful. And brought about me a soft mood that wasn't really sad but also not so sweet. a mixture of both, I suppose. Great poem. I love the name... Lilly.

Lily, that was her name and she was my friend. We never said a proper goodbye, just went our own ways silently. I hope one day Lily understands that certain feelings are as simple not be silly And that life's ketchup and mayonnaise only awaits her love so hot as chilli Otherwise life is just lost like the smell of sweet milk and vermicelli
