Limerick: Reply To Navel Battle By Kelly Kurt

Though he sometimes ate like a glutton,
From pork chops to beef steaks and mutton,
It never came undone,
For he didn't have one.
No, Adam had no belly button!

i laughed gently at the cartoon. ;) - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - What Is There to 'Miss'? Is it true that Adam had no navel? I see what ya mean. How 'bout Abel? AND how 'bout Abel's sister: Mabel? ? But I guess Adam didn't 'miss too much'; a navel's only use is catching lint and such. bri ;) btw, Adam may have had NO navel, but it looks (in the illustration) as though he DID have an extra eye. and it was NOT in the back of his head! ............well, maybe he had one there also? OR maybe Adam was a human prototype. God went with the belly-navel over the forehead-navel later? ?
