Lines From Silence Poem by Malcolm McGill

Lines From Silence

Rating: 4.0

Lines from Silence
A Confession from Heaven:
1.
Not an eon ago
Or a hundred years ago
A month, a week,
A few days or one day
Has love ever existed.
Free will has been quite an interesting experience.

Dreams:
2.

The one thing no writer should ever do
Is ask the internet what to write about
Or ask anybody what to write about
Or even ask himself what to write about.
It is dangerous.
The answer is usually dreams. And if that's not cliché enough
To make you want to grind your skull into piecemeal
Than you shouldn't be writing. At least writing for an audience expecting
Something decent.
