Liquid Light Poem by Meghan

Liquid Light

light pierces the atmosphere of the room
and fills this space with liquid lumination
it's golden embrace reigns my soul's celebration
the void is shot with light and leaves me whole
wraps the night and puts new paint on the wall
in the essence I can still remember
the nights of dark when I held you
and the black washed to grey blue
the stars collided with the horizon
and melted away in the wake of the sun

'you have to see the dark to appreciate the light'
