She looked gloomy
And appeared not happy
I tried to read but failed
She did not utter a word to tell
It was making me sad too
As I thought of crisis she might be passing through
But I tried to console and assuage her
She declined to accept any offer
Listen carefully
She came out with statement readily
'I shall be in no truck with you'
This is sad part but very true
Why? What makes you to think so?
We shall swim and sink and go
All the way with as one
But never as alone
It did not cut much ice
She remained adamant to breach promise
Now it was my turn
For sad part to return
'Alright' be at an ease
You should feel with peace
Life is not what we think about
It is how we deal and stay put
