Little Girl In Pain Poem by Megan Foster

Come home from school and see my parents sitting in the living room
They aren't happy and the littler girls are confused on what happened
Run to dad and ask what's wrong, why he is so upset
He says grandma has died and he starts crying
She is crying so hard into his shoulder and won't let him go
She asks him why did she have to die, why did she die
He said there was nothing they could do, that it was her time to go
All the little girl Wanted to do was hit my dad for saying that
She cried for 2 days up until the funeral finally came
Then when she saw her grandma laying there she ran to her dad crying even more.
