Little Things I Should Keep Poem by Manonton Dalan

Little Things I Should Keep

Rating: 5.0

there are places on this planet
unknown to us how they live, true
taste of ice cream; crowning moment
slice of pizza a wild celebration
birth of a calf is gift from above
as sweet as first word of a child

i'm thinking there are we ignore
throwing lots of food and more
i was riding my car this morning
saw beautiful almost perfect couch
roadside waiting for trash collector
i wonder how many loves it keeps

why would i not throw my old cap
fading logo stitches coming apart
i love warmth feeling on my scalp
throbs from my brain absorb all that
i'm keeping you to make this whole
your beautiful mind might think about
