Live In The Present Poem by Pradeep Dhavakumar

I thought of going back to the past,
To change a thing or two.
But then I may mess something else,
And what will my present then do?

I thought of cajoling the Lord,
To reserve the king's suite in heaven.
But Then I shall be forever dead
And what can I do with whats given?

So I enjoy my life today,
Doing whatever I feel I should.
Is this Yesterday's thought?
Or will it be tomorrow’s regret?
I care not, to be understood.
