Living Fast And Going Slow. Poem by Charles M Moore

Living Fast And Going Slow.

Rating: 5.0

Sitting in the bathtub
Smoking on the ready rub
Got to get my hair wet
Take the doggie to the vet
Try to find my good socks
Remember how the door locks
Kick the garbage out the way
Living minutes tick away
Get into a log jam
Driving in my old van
The dog is barking in the back
Chewing on my old hat
Traffic lights ain't worth a dime
They never save you any time
Listen to the road show
Living fast and going slow.

So much to do, so little time! Interesting little piece, Charlie. You hit the nail right on the head with this one. A universal issue, I think. Linda :) xx
