Living Pictures Poem by Allian Bern Fuentes

Living Pictures

Memories come home like sinking me down from atop the roof
It's haunting over again like face the world you own before
I flint my head to erase the prints I had done with you
Burn the living pictures in my head and bring myself home again

I tried myself to lift us before
But sorry right now cause I'm not anymore
When you'll tail me again I'll let you know my hell
Cause you dodged my words and threw back my will

In spite of the way you had other pair
I let myself down and let go my fear
I marked your name in my open heart
And laid the golds to raise your part
But it's all gone when you fell your mask

Now all has left is a firing scene
Do I need myself to kill me again
Pin my air to stop this eruption
Dig with emotion, expose myself in pollution
Invite the blackbirds to eat my skin
And let the rain wash away my name
