Living - Poem #1212
It is not those things that happen to us
That make our days here precious,
But rather the way we react to them
That makes our living salubrious.
It is not in the falling that we learn
But in standing up again to face it,
That Courage is bred, and Wisdom earned
With the lessons we did not forfeit.
